The Promoter of this competition is Country Carpets, 68 Largo Road, St Andrews, KY16 8NJ.
The competition is open to anyone with a DD, KY and PH postcode and people aged 18 years or over at the time of competition entry, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the promotion.
Competition will begin on May 1st 2024 and ending on 3rd June 2024. Only one entry per household.
a. Prize for this competition 12 sqm of stock vinyl to five lucky winners. Winners will be chosen at random.
b. The Promoter reserves the right to add more prizes as and when they become available. Winners will be notified that they have won in line with these Terms & Conditions.
c. Winners will be notified by Country Carpets via facebook messenger by 3rd June 2024 and may be requested to share their address or other details in order to facilitate prize fulfilment.
d. Prizes may come with additional Terms & Conditions that apply. In such instances, all relevant information will be provided to the winners prior to them accepting the prize. If a winner cannot adhere to the terms (e.g. did not share their address), then that prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.
e. The Promoter must publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, if you are a winner, your surname and county of residence will be made available on www.countrycarpets.co.uk and on Facebook or if applicable made available to anyone who email.
The winners may object to their surname or county of residence being published or made available, or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
f. Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize will only be awarded directly to the winner(s).
g. Any room of choice, supply only pick up in store or delivery fee depending on postal address. We can offer fitting if required at an addition cost. If more square metres is needed, winner pays however much more they need.

b. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly submitted, or corrupted submission. Any personal data submitted will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The Promoter will use the personal data supplied for the administration of the competition and for informing entrants of future Country Carpets promotions (where we have your consent). The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this prize draw or communicating with entrants. See our privacy policy at https://www.countrycarpets.co.uk/privacy. The entrant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend or alter the terms of competition and reject entries.
The decision is final and binding; no correspondence will be entered into, entrants are deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this competition at any time with no liability to any entrant or any third party where it becomes necessary to do so.
If for any reason any aspect of the competition does not function correctly, whether by means of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, integrity or fairness of the competition, then the Promoter may at its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion and/or invalidate affected entries.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no liability for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the competition and/or prizes, other that such liability that cannot be excluded by law including death or personal injury caused by negligence, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law.
The rights and remedies of the Promoter under these terms and conditions are without prejudice to its rights under the law. These terms and conditions shall not create any rights or benefits enforceable by any third party by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
This competition is subject to Scottish law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
